Katie Elwart

Katie has spent her entire legal career advocating for her clients. She spent over 14 years as a public defender in Fulton County, representing individuals charged with felony crimes at the trial and appellate level. Most of her career at the public defender’s office was spent in the complex felony unit, representing people charged with the most serious crimes; murder, armed robbery, sex crimes and drug trafficking. Her many years in the courtroom have earned her a reputation as a fearless advocate who fights hard for every client.



Degrees
Katie received her law degree from Georgia State University in 2001. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Social Studies Education from the University of Georgia in 1998.
About Katie
Katie has lived in the metro Atlanta area for her entire adult life. She is a graduate of Wheeler High School in Cobb County and resides in East Cobb with her husband and their two children.

Brian Hobbs

Brian began his legal career as a public defender in Fulton County and never stopped representing the interests of individuals. He advocated for his clients in the superior court of Fulton County and at the appellate level, spending most of his time in the complex felony unit. Brian has handled the toughest cases in the state, representing people charged with murder, armed robbery, sex crimes and drug trafficking. Due to his extensive experience and attention to detail, Brian is known as one of the most skilled and aggressive lawyers in the State.



Degrees
Brian received his law degree from the University of Arizona in 2001, and he earned an L.L.M. in taxation from Golden Gate University in 2002. He completed his Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics and English literature from University of California, Santa Barbara in 1991. He is a member of the Georgia and California bars.
About Brian
Brian relocated to Georgia in 2002. He lives in Canton with his wife and their two children.
